WEDNESday

Continue working through your MP3 booklet, heres the checklist for what you should have completed so far:

  • Re-read the technology department rules, and computer use rules
  • File management - written down exactly what you have done to manage the files in your account e.g. all the folders you made.
  • iMP - read the issue / brief
  • Internet - searching effectively - listed at least 20 different search engines, then in the guidelines part written step by step how you would teach someone (e.g. your grandmother) how to search on the internet on a specific subject, and how to find information that is helpful and what she needs. You need to give LOTS of detail here!
  • Research - remember this is to help you in the design process for YOUR MP3 you are going to design. keep in mind your MP3 player has to have an ERGONOMIC design, and needs to be original. Use your searching to give you ideas and make sure you dont accidentally copy something else! You need to find AT LEAST 10 images and specifications (list of the size, materials used, and functions of that MP3 player).
  • Brainstorm - make a huge list of ideas, features, materials, colours, functions, shapes etc. for you design. Keep in mind the ergonomic aspect of your design!
  • Investigation - create a series of questions with different options for the answers. Survey a variety of people in the school, and use excel to create the best graph(s) you can from your results. Your graphs should be easy to read, have all the information e.g. titles and axis labels.
